Be.Vocal

Set up by professional singer Becki Fishwick in 2016, Be.Vocal offers singing lessons in Cumbria, based at Becki’s teaching studio in Barrow-in-Furness.

Be.Vocal welcomes children and adults to come and learn to sing, perform and feel more confident.

Becki runs Be.Vocal workshops, including children’s term time and holiday clubs, women’s groups and in 2022 coached a community LGBTQ+ choir. All of Becki’s group singing lessons in Cumbria take part in local shows, some that are a showcase based on the songs learned for family and friends, and others that are community events, such as Pride or Christmas occasions.

The main thing to remember about a Be.Vocal singing workshop, is that all experiences are welcome. Whether you’ve never sang a tune before, to you were once part of professional choir, and everything in between, Be.Vocal is an inclusive place for everyone.

Becki also offers one to one singing lessons, vocal coaching, and confidence and performance support. These sessions are also open to all ages and abilities, so if you want to learn a specific song, improve your vocal range, or just take the time to do something you’ve always wanted to do, Becki is on hand with a wealth of experience and support to help you achieve your goal.

All styles of music from pop and rock, to jazz and musicals are taught and performed and Becki loves to take on different genres and really mix them up to help you develop range and just for fun!
