Becki Fishwick – Event and Wedding  Singer


Becki first took to the stage as a 6 year old starring in her school nativity, and has loved performing ever since.

At the age of 20 Becki moved overseas to work for Thomas Cook, entertaining holidaymakers in large cabaret shows around the Mediterranean.

Returning to the UK in 2008, Becki performed as a solo covers act for local venues in Barrow-in-Furness, then joined a local  popular soul and Motown band ‘Heart and Soul’.

After moving to Manchester in 2010 to pursue her solo career further, Becki was asked to sing for Mary Portas’ party in Manchester’s House of Fraser, also singing had some very high end cabaret clubs and private parties in the city centre.

In 2013 Becki pursued her dream job singing on a cruise liner, visiting Belgium, Norway and the Caribbean, singing in large musical productions and performing her very own cabaret to up to 1500 passengers, she also worked as an Entertainment Manager onboard P&O Ferries.

Becki moved back to her home town of Barrow-in-Furness in 2014 and has been extremely busy ever since performing as an event and wedding singer, building a strong reputation and loyal following in the South lakes areas. Becki offers several musical options, from a ‘Soul and Motown night’, a ‘Vintage Cabaret performance’ and A nigh of Jazz and blues. Becki’s performances are suited to all occasions.

Becki also received a Grade 8 Distinction in Rock and Pop Vocals, which she is very proud of.

Becki has become a vintage enthusiast over the years and loves to bring a touch of 40’s, 50’s or 60’s style and glamour to her performances.



Becki’s musical inspirations include Paloma Faith, Imelda May and Amy Winehouse and grew up listening to classics such as Dusty Springfield, Aretha Franklin, Patsy Cline, Etta James and Janis Joplin and other soulful voices.

In Feb 2016 Becki organised and starred in a Sold out Amy Winehouse tribute evening raising money and awareness for the Amy Winehouse foundation, which Amy’s mum Janis was very grateful for, and loved the video of the show sent to her, Becki performing all 25 of Amys hits with an 8 piece live band, the event was a huge success and sold out at local large music venue, The Nines in Barrow in Furness and then took it to The Coro, Ulverston due to demand.

Becki has  worked closely with some fantastic local hotels and companies including The Grange Hotel, Grange over Sands, The Belsfield, Laura Ashley hotel, in Bowness, The Abbey House, Barrow and Chequers, Dalton at their weddings and  private events, at Costa Coffee live music evenings and most recently Becki sang for Soap and Glory at Manchester University ‘She’s the Business’ event. Becki also provides entertainment for big corporate businesses such as BAE, James Fisher, Furness Building Society.

In 2018 Becki hit a career highlight and played at the huge festival Kendal Calling, after Tim Burgess of The Charlatans discovered her retro covers of their songs, loved them so much that they booked her to perform. Becki return to Kendal Calling 2019 and will also be forming a choir there too.

Becki worked for the BBC in 2018 on the production of a show Called ‘All together now’  with Geri Halliwell personally commending her strong vocal and great style playing Amy Winehouse in a sell out show and winning a top industry vocal awards, to name just some of her highlight

Becki releases her own debut single in June 2020  ‘Know You Know’ along side her cover of Charlatans ‘One To Another’ with the permission and praise of Tim Burgess after booking and seeing Becki perform at Tim Peaks diner Kendal Calling.
