A Rockabilly Recap! – April

Happy New Year to all my wonderful supporters, be it friends, family or fans I’m yet to meet! I hope you all had a great 2014, and what a great way to start off the beginning of the year than with my very own blog!

2014 was certainly an eventful and busy year in my life, and I’ve certainly come out stronger with lots to look forward to.

I started the year sailing the North Sea as entertainment manager for P&O ferries again this time to Rotterdam, performing my own cabaret of Soul and Motown each night to a 1500 capacity audience. I even shared the stage one night with The beautiful south!

In April I decided to leave my life at sea and return to dry land and move back to my home town of a Barrow in Furness. Whilst home I let a few local venues aware I was available to perform and before I knew it word got round and I was to perform frequently in bars, restaurants around the Furness area! I was especially pleased to be asked to perform at several Vintage Fayres and events which is something I’m very passionate about being a mid century gal!

She was also a complete professional in both communicating with us before the event to find out what we wanted and visiting the venue to discuss set up etc. She sang at a family party with a very mixed group of ages and knew just what to do to keep the party going and ensure everyone had a great time.
