Amy – A Night Remembering

Becki has loved Amy Winehouse from the start, she has been a huge inspiration to her both musically and style wise. She was the first artist who gave Becki the confidence to get up on stage and start performing alone in local venues as she was an artist She could relate too, with her jazz and blues influences, Becki too love to seek inspiration in older styles of music but give them a modern twist, and her strong sense of vintage style, with her 60s inspired beehive and 50s dresses and mod outfits, this too is something Becki feel is very important as an artist, to have a strong image people can recognise.

Becki has followed the Amy Winehouse foundation since it was set up and has been to some events in Camden 

Amy made such an impact on the British music scene with her incredible music and unique tone of voice, but sadly her battles with drink, drugs and relationships were heavily publicised something you may see in the latest movie.

Along with 8 of Furness’s finest musicians a whole night is dedicated to Amy’s memory and to raise money and awareness for the Amy Winehouse foundation, who we have contacted for there consent, and all proceeds from the program on sale at the night will go the charity, and we have had best wishes and thanks from Amy’s mother Janis.
