Wartime Songs Performed by Becki Fishwick – 3rd May 2015

The imperial war museum will be marking the 70th anniversary of VE Day with a major day of events and activities on Sunday 3 May.

As part of the programme, professional event’s singer and vintage enthusiast Becki Fishwick will be performing wartime songs throughout the day, bringing a touch of 40s style and glamour to IWM North.

Expect songs by Doris Day, The Andrews Sisters, Judy Garland, Glen Miller, Ella Fitzgerald and Peggy Lee.

She was also a complete professional in both communicating with us before the event to find out what we wanted and visiting the venue to discuss set up etc. She sang at a family party with a very mixed group of ages and knew just what to do to keep the party going and ensure everyone had a great time.
